I once heard a Pastor say, "In order for God to do anything in our lives, we must PRESS IN through prayer"; Inside my
Spirit, I heard the phrase, "run after Me".
To know the power of prayer, is to hunger & intensely desire to grow and increase in our ability to cooperate & flow with God
in our prayer times. The more determined, healthy and strong the tie, the more powerful our prayer life becomes; and as a
result, the more quickly comes the manifestation of answered prayer. ALL the promises of God, In Christ Jesus, are Yea &
Amen! PRAISE GOD!
Prayer puts the Power within us to work. But, we must know how to tap into that power!
The children of Israel wandered in the wilderness 40 years. Where were their hearts? WHY did it take them 40 years??
Their hearts weren't fixed on God, they were nonchalant about God. Hosea 4:1-6 refers to imitating fellowship with God
rather than getting understanding of who God is; they rejected relationship. "...no knowledge of God in the land. ... "My
people are being destroyed because they don't know me."
To move out, up & forward, we must pray & believe what we pray! Praying according to the leading & promptings of the
Holy Spirit allows us to tune into what is on God's heart. God needs us to pray, to speak (proclaim) out into the atmosphere!
Saying we "press in" means pressing/continuing in prayer until we get to the place where the Holy Spirit is putting what God
wants prayed out into the earth into our heart. We must receive the ability of the Holy Spirit in order to pray accurately and
effectively. God causes our thoughts to agree with His will, if and when we commit our lives, our work, our ALL; As we
renew our minds we will have the thoughts and mind of Christ concerning everything. The devil takes advantage of our
ignorance (praying amiss, deception).
Mark 11:25 says, "and when you STAND praying..." meaning "keep praying," don't change your prayer because you don't
see immediate physical manifestation of what you are believing for. When you pray & nothing seems to be happening or
changing, KEEP PRAYING! Know what you desire or are hoping for--there is NO Hope outside of prayer. Remember the
saying, "Hope deferred, makes the heart sick". We believe in our hearts - therefore, No hope, No desire.
James 5:15-16 = our position is to pray, God does the rest (raising, healing, delivering, etc.) Everything I put into prayer, I
get out of prayer. When you are a "pray-er", and you pray for others, you can't help but be healed of whatever ails "you"!
You are an instrument that God can depend on to do His work! He needs YOU well! The devil CANNOT keep you down,
your Father has need of YOU! When you are praying "in the Spirit", there is tremendous Power available & that Power is
dynamic (explosive) in it's working. Power available to do whatever needs to be done!
A life of prayer is a heart toward God; God hears our heart. We are to seek the "heart of God", not things.
God made us as "reward minded" people; He is a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him! Let me point out, prayer has
it's rewards. A) manifestation of the answer B) God rewards openly what's done in secret C) others will see that you've
been in the presence of God. HOW? Peace in your mind, your life, your home, Elevation in status, Promotion, Love walk
increases, Prosperity (spiritually, socially, financially, family, health).
Finally, it's important to pray in a state of repentance and then forgive yourself! We confess our sins, God does the forgiving
of our sins ("..He is faithful & just to forgive our sins"). Then release issues and people and stay in a state of forgiveness
before God.
ABIDING IN CHRIST,
KIM
PRAYER OF SALVATION
God in Heaven, I come to You right now in the Name of Jesus. Acts 2:21 says "Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved" I pray and ask Jesus Christ (the Anointed One and His Anointing), to come into my heart and be the Lord of my life as Romans 10:9-10 says. I confess that Jesus is Lord; I believe in my heart that He died on the cross for my sins, and that God raised Him from the dead on the third day. By Faith, I am saved! I am reborn! I am a Christian (a child of God). Father, I ask You now to fill me with your Holy Spirit. I fully expect to speak with other tongues as He gives me utterance (Acts 2:4). In Jesus Name, AMEN!"
Now, PRAISE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART & WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, BECAUSE YOU ARE SAVED, AND ARE NOW A CITIZEN OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!
